Who you are

You’re an experienced developer, UX designer, or DevOps engineer who's looking for more engaging, enjoyable work with a team that's just as passionate as you are.

You’d love to level up your skills working in unique environments, a variety of projects, and different frameworks and tools. You're a born problem solver, and you're always interested in a new way to approach a complex challenge.

Finally, while you like what you do, you're not interested in burning yourself out to do it. You want the freedom to work where you want, when you want, and with the kinds of projects you enjoy most—and plenty of time to enjoy your family, your hobbies, and your life outside of work.

Who we are

We are a full-time, remote team of 80+ React, Angular, and JavaScript developers, UX designers, and DevOps Engineers located across North America, South America, and the UK. We offer end-to-end app development, from ideation to training teams in better processes to delivery, and it's our mission to leave every company better than we found it.

We're creating a video series about what it's like to work with us for each department —here's the first one, from our DevOps team.

TL;DR

Bitovi is a great place to work. If you want to learn more about our philosophy, check out CEO Justin Meyer's article, "Hello Potential Bitovian."

What we look for

We want someone who enjoys identifying the hard parts of application consulting and simplifying them, talking about architecture, and teaching others. We also want someone who can lead others and be an integral part of a team.    We look for strong communications skills, the ability to set and manage expectations, and how you interact with others to build relationships.

In addition to client work, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a small and growing company by applying your talent and passion towards an area of interest. Bitovians:

    • Speak at conferences

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops

    • Run meetups or other local groups

    • Maintain open source projects

    • Publish content

About our interviews

When it comes to interviewing, we are looking for individuals with expert level technical skills, who are just as comfortable and confident communicating with key client stakeholders, setting and managing expectations, and leading through project challenges.  Project success is a combination of multiple factors and we've learned that non-technical skills are just as critical.

Our interview process for all roles involves a combination of technical, behavioral, and consulting style interviews.   We tend to start with a take home exercise and move on to interviews conducted via video calls from there.

Benefits

At Bitovi, great work deserves great rewards—competitive pay, bonuses, generous benefits, and the freedom to work fully remote (we’ll never make you RTO). Ready to grow your career with a team that values you inside and outside of work?
