Whether it’s through migrating complex applications, building custom Nx plugins, or teaching others how to use Nx effectively, all four of Bitovi’s Nx Certified Experts have made impactful contributions to the Nx community and continue to help enterprise teams get the most out of their workspaces.

Ali Shouman

Ali has helped enterprise teams consolidate complex infrastructures, including Next.js apps, Node.js servers, and AWS Lambda functions, into streamlined Nx monorepos. By modularizing common code into shared libraries and enforcing module boundaries, he’s improved both code reuse and CI/CD performance. Ali stays on the cutting edge by regularly attending events like Launch Nx Conf and exploring the latest Nx updates.

Mark Thompson

Mark specializes in Angular and Nx architecture, including Nx migrations, custom plugin development, and advanced workspace structuring. His past work includes migrating Ionic libraries to Nx, leading plugin workshops using CanJS, and creating publishable ESLint rule plugins for monorepos, complete with generators, executors, and custom rule documentation. Mark's deep knowledge of Nx boundaries, generators, and executors makes him the go-to expert for teams scaling Nx in enterprise environments.

Rich McNeary

Rich brings years of experience using Nx in React and Node.js environments. From visualizing dependency graphs to implementing incremental builds, he’s seen firsthand how Nx improves developer workflows. Rich has built custom generators and plugins, tailored Webpack configurations, and even supported serverless deployments with Nx-powered projects. His thoughtful approach to customizing the Nx CLI continues to improve developer experience and team productivity.

Ilyass Elfouih

Ilyass has applied Nx to side projects and enterprise use cases alike. He has migrated Angular applications to monorepos and implemented domain-driven design with shared library structures. He’s also a passionate educator, having published articles and given talks about Nx workspaces, module boundaries, and dependency graph visualization. His content empowers teams to embrace Nx and build scalable, maintainable software.

Ilyass has also collaborated with Nx’s team to deliver community webinars that help developers everywhere stay up-to-date on the latest Nx releases. His most recent webinar, Build Better, Ship Faster: Monorepos, Apps, & Component Libraries with Nx Cloud, is available on demand.
